Intern - QA

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Intern to develop and execute exploratory tests as well as functional tests in order to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will be focused primarily on quality assurance, and testing the platform from start to finish (critical paths, and everything in between). The selected interns will work as part of our QA teams and help plan testing efforts, execute test scripts, help with installing testing software and web testing.

As a QA Intern at Entropik, you will have the hands-on opportunity to work within a growing team to solve interesting challenges. Our team is agile, highly collaborative, and learning-focused.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing users stories / use cases / feature requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies with respect to the feature and releases
• Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, Sanity and Regression) on products across platforms
• Design, write and execute detailed Test Cases
• Work closely with Software QA and software development engineers on requirements

Requirements

• Should have some experience in software development, software quality assurance and knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• A Technical Background with the ability to write basic scripts in Java/ Python/ SQL
• Understanding and ability to execute backend testing (API Testing), frontend testing - Web apps, & Mobile Testing
• Familiarity with tools like - Postman or Charles
• Basic understanding of Chrome Developer Tools
• Should be able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
